RBI (the form itself)
The sourceThe EDF is the Annex to the Foreign Exchange Management (Export and Import of Goods and Services) Regulations, 2026 (FEMA 23(R)/2026-RB). Every bank's format is built on it. Our field-by-field guide explains every box.
HDFC Bank
Own formatIts own format: an Excel workbook with a request letter, an EDF annexure (one row per client and currency) and invoice sheets. The request letter is also published as a PDF.
State Bank of India
Guidance onlyNo EDF template. A customer guide lists what to submit, starting with a request letter "in the bank's standard format" with FEMA declarations, and a policy document repeats the rules.
ICICI Bank

HSBC India
Guidance onlyA guideline note on the new FEMA export-import rules. Services other than software move to EDF filing with the AD bank.
Bandhan Bank
Guidance onlyA general documents checklist for export transactions, mostly about goods, with no EDF format for services. Dated June 2026, before the new rules, so check with your branch.
